Available Positions

Job Responsibilities & Duties

Administrative & Clerical Positions (UDC, LDC)

• Process official documentation and maintain records
• Assist in case file management and archival
• Provide administrative support to senior officers
• Handle correspondence and communication
• Prepare reports and maintain databases

Investigation & Law Enforcement (Sub Inspector, ASI, Constable)

• Conduct investigations into federal offences
• Gather evidence and prepare case reports
• Patrol assigned areas and maintain public order
• Respond to emergency calls and incidents
• Collaborate with other agencies on joint operations
• Attend court proceedings and provide testimony
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Driver Positions (Constable Driver, Staff Car Driver)

• Operate and maintain assigned vehicles safely
• Transport personnel and equipment efficiently
• Ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards
• Provide logistical support during field operations
• Maintain route awareness and navigation

Stenotypist (BS-14)

• Perform stenographic duties for official proceedings
• Transcribe interviews and statements accurately
• Maintain confidential records and documents
• Support senior officials with stenographic services

Assistant (BS-15)

• Support senior management and investigation teams
• Coordinate between departments and divisions
• Assist in case review and data analysis
• Manage special projects and initiatives
• Provide research and compilation support

Required Qualifications

Additional Requirements

• Age Limit: As per position specifications (18 minimum; maximum 25 or 28/30 depending on role)
• Typing Speed: Minimum required for clerical positions (UDC/LDC/Stenotypist)
• Physical Standards: As per uniform service requirements (for investigation & constable roles)
• Driving License: Valid Pakistan driving license required for driver positions
• Citizenship: Pakistani national
• Medical Fitness: Candidates must pass FIA medical examination
• Character Certificate: No criminal record; clear background verification required
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Urdu essential
• Vision & Hearing: Must meet FIA’s medical standards for respective positions

Experience & Eligibility

• Fresh Graduates Welcome: No prior experience required for most positions
• Experience Advantage: Relevant work experience in law enforcement or related fields will be considered as an advantage
• Provincial Quotas: Positions allocated across provinces; candidates can apply from their respective regions
• All Provinces Eligible: Candidates from Sindh, Punjab, KPK, Balochistan, and other provinces can apply
