About the Programme

The Institute of Rural Management (IRM) is offering its Summer Internship Programme (SIP) 2026 a structured six week opportunity for university and college students across Pakistan. The programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real world professional exposure within the development sector. Interns will work alongside seasoned professionals, participate in field visits, contribute to research activities, and engage in office based learning all within a supportive, growth oriented environment.

What You’ll Experience

Field Visits: On ground exposure to rural development work
Research Activities: Data collection, analysis, and reporting
Professional Mentoring: Guidance from experienced sector professionals
Office Based Learning: Hands on workplace experience

Eligibility & Requirements

Eligible Disciplines:

BBA, Business Management, Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences, and other related academic disciplines.

Candidate Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme
Fresh students are encouraged to apply no prior experience required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in computer and digital tools is preferred
Open to students from universities and colleges across Pakistan
