About the Role

Meezan Bank, Pakistan’s leading Islamic Commercial Bank with a network of over 1,130 branches in more than 350 cities, is hiring Rural Banking Officers to support its Agriculture and Rural Banking division. This role is ideal for individuals who understand rural communities and want to build a career in Islamic banking while contributing to financial inclusion across Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities

Promote the Bank’s Agriculture and Rural Banking products
Generate quality financing leads for bank branches
Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, traders, livestock farmers, and rural entrepreneurs
Support customer onboarding and financial inclusion initiatives
Mobilize deposits from rural communities

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: Minimum Intermediate (FA/FSc/ICS/I.Com or equivalent); a qualification in Islamic Finance will be preferred
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as of July 31, 2026
- 2 years’ age relaxation for: Dars-e-Nizami/Shahadat ul Alamiyah graduates from an HEC-recognized board, Hafiz-e-Quran, and differently-abled persons
Must own a motorcycle and hold a valid motorcycle driving license
Knowledge of local agriculture and rural markets is an added advantage
Preference given to residents of rural and semi-urban areas
Candidates with prior banking experience preferred; fresh candidates encouraged to apply
