The value of the tuition fee award is £7,000 per academic year

September 2027 for the duration of your course.

Awards will be allocated throughout the academic year before the start of the student’s degree.
Overview
Newcastle University is pleased to offer partial Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships to assist international students to study an undergraduate degree.

Eligibility criteria
To be considered for awards applicants must:
- be domiciled in of one of the following countries/regions: Algeria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, Ukraine, USA, Vietnam, Zimbabwe, all EU member states
- have been offered a place to study on an eligible undergraduate degree course at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2027/28 academic year
- be assessed as international for fee purposes
- must submit a course application via UCAS by the Equal Consideration Deadline of 13th January 2027. Applicants who receive an offer from the University by 31st March 2027, must accept Newcastle University as a Firm or Insurance choice by 3rd May 2027.
*NB Applicants domiciled in Turkey can only be considered if they are self-funding their studies.
Eligible candidates will be assessed as part of their academic application.
