Job Description
NADRA, working under Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior & Narcotics Control, is inviting fresh graduates and early-career IT professionals to apply for five Deputy Assistant Director positions at its Islamabad headquarters. Openings span DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, VAS Operations, Core Network Engineering, and System Administration, offering hands-on exposure to NADRA’s data center, network, and systems environment on a contract basis with a six-month probation period.
What You’ll Do:
- Support web servers, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes (DevOps)
- Maintain high-availability servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and backup/disaster-recovery processes (Infrastructure)
- Monitor VoIP/VAS systems, call flows, and troubleshoot SIP, RTP, and networking issues (VAS Operations)
- Operate and monitor core network links, including fiber, DRS, and 3G/4G connectivity nationwide (Network Engineering)
- Perform first-level troubleshooting, backup checks, and system health monitoring across Linux and Windows environments (System Administration)
Who Should Apply:
- 16 years of education (BS/MS) in Computer Science, IT, Software/Computer/Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field from an HEC-recognized, HEC-attested university
- 0–1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Maximum age 30 years (5-year relaxation already included)
- Role-specific familiarity with tools such as Ansible, VMware, Ceph, or SDN/SD-WAN, depending on the position
