The Youth Digital Program (YDP) Batch 2, organized by the Digital Communication Department of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of Pakistan, is now accepting internship applications. This program is designed for students, recent graduates, and emerging creators who want to transform their talents into practical skills. YDP focuses on discovering new talent and nurturing young individuals through creative projects, collaboration, and public-interest communication. Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful digital content and engage with youth communities, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the process.
Key Responsibilities
Interns will contribute to the creation of videos, interviews, digital campaigns, and youth engagement activities. Depending on individual skills, responsibilities may include developing creative ideas, producing multimedia content, discovering emerging creators, and connecting with student and creative communities. The role involves active participation in hosting, presenting, podcast production, video editing, filmmaking, photography, graphic design, visual storytelling, social media management, communication, and community outreach.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should be curious, reliable, open to feedback, and ready to contribute actively. Both university-trained individuals and self-taught creatives are encouraged to apply, provided they can demonstrate their skills, ideas, and eagerness to learn. A portfolio or relevant work samples showcasing talent in one or more of the focus areas—such as hosting, video production, graphic design, or social media—is essential.
