We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Management Intern to join our team on-site for a duration of 3 to 6 months. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media strategy and content creation while working closely with the marketing team. The intern will assist in growing the brand’s presence across multiple platforms by planning, creating, and publishing engaging content, interacting with the audience, and tracking performance metrics. This internship begins as unpaid, with a performance-based stipend introduced based on individual contributions and results.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist in planning and scheduling content across various social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, TikTok, and Facebook.
– Create engaging posts, captions, stories, and short-form videos or reels that align with the brand’s voice.
– Monitor comments, messages, and mentions, responding appropriately or escalating issues when necessary.
– Track engagement metrics and prepare weekly performance reports to inform strategy adjustments.
– Conduct research on industry trends, relevant hashtags, and competitor activities to keep content fresh and relevant.
– Support influencer and partner outreach efforts as well as collaboration campaigns.
– Help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all social media channels.
– Assist with basic graphic design and video editing tasks using tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar software.
Required Qualifications
– Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
– Strong understanding of major social media platforms and awareness of current trends.
– Excellent written communication skills with a creative mindset and attention to detail.
– Basic proficiency in content creation tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar applications.
– Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
– Prior experience managing a personal or organizational social media account is considered a plus.
– Must be able to commute and work on-site for the entire duration of the internship.
