Featuresnow is looking for an Associate Software Engineer to work on‑site in Lahore. The role targets fresh computer‑science graduates or candidates with less than a year of professional experience who are eager to grow their problem‑solving skills and build production‑grade software.
Responsibilities
- Write, test, debug and maintain real‑world software components under the guidance of senior architects.
- Participate in code reviews, produce clean and maintainable code, and iterate based on feedback.
- Perform deep root���cause analysis of bugs, optimise performance and address architectural issues.
- Collaborate with international product teams through sprint planning, technical sessions and asynchronous discussions.
Who Should Apply
- Holders of a BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
- Strong fundamentals in OOP, data structures & algorithms, SQL/database design, APIs and version control.
- Practical experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, TypeScript, C++).
- Clear technical communication, active listening and willingness to ask questions.
- Bonus: public GitHub projects, experience with AI‑assisted coding tools, or exposure to cloud platforms and DevOps pipelines.
