SI Chemicals is looking for a graphic design intern to join its prepress team at Korangi Creek Industrial Park in Karachi. The paid placement lasts between three to five months and focuses on preparing artwork for flexographic printing.
Responsibilities
- Assist the prepress crew in editing and readying artwork for print runs.
- Make minor design tweaks to meet client and print specifications.
- Check files, correct layouts, and ensure all files are print‑ready.
- Collaborate with senior designers and production staff to meet quality and deadline requirements.
Who Should Apply
- Fresh graduates or final‑year students in graphic design, visual communication, or related fields.
- Basic proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and CorelDRAW.
- Familiarity with print fundamentals such as colour management, file formats and PDF handling.
- Willingness to learn flexographic printing processes and production standards.
- Preferably residing near the industrial park and able to commute, own bike is a plus.
