JOB SUMMARY:
Resident Medical Officer – Surgical ICU to provide comprehensive patient care under the supervision of consultants. The role involves monitoring critically ill surgical patients, performing clinical procedures, supporting treatment plans, and ensuring accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality, patient centered care in compliance with hospital protocols.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor and assess critically ill surgical patients, integrating clinical findings to guide care.
Perform clinical procedures and interventions in the ICU under supervision.
Develop and implement patient management plans, prioritizing safety and timely interventions.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.
Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team regarding patient status and treatment plans.
Follow hospital policies, protocols, and critical care best practices.
KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES:
Strong clinical knowledge in surgical critical care and ICU management.
Analytical and problem-solving skills for rapid decision-making in emergencies.
Effective communication and teamwork skills with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: MBBS
Experience: 02 to 03 years of relevant ICU or surgical experience
