Job Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the complete Cane Accounts operation, including grower registration, cane receipts, weighment records, cane rates, deductions and payments.
Review and reconcile daily cane procurement and weighbridge data with Cane Accounts records.
Verify grower-wise cane quantities, rates, quality-related adjustments and payable amounts.
Prepare and review grower-wise cane payment sheets and ensure timely processing of payments.
Maintain accurate records of growers, including advances, recoveries, deductions and outstanding balances.
Monitor and reconcile cane advances provided to growers against subsequent cane supplies.
Ensure proper accounting of agricultural inputs, loans, advances and other recoverable amounts from growers, where applicable.
Qualifications
8-12 years of relevant experience in Cane Accounts, Sugar Industry Finance, Grower Accounts or a similar role.
Strong preference for candidates with experience in a sugar mill or agricultural procurement environment.
