Wavetec, a technology solutions provider based in Karachi's Korangi Creek Industrial Park, is looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer. The role focuses on building reliable infrastructure, automating workflows, and enhancing system performance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and configure both Linux and Windows server environments.
- Design, update, and support CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
- Automate deployments, infrastructure provisioning, and routine operational tasks.
- Work with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Apply networking knowledge to manage protocols and infrastructure components.
- Handle database setup, backups, performance monitoring, and tuning.
- Implement monitoring solutions to ensure high availability and stability.
- Create and keep detailed technical documentation.
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure or deployment issues proactively.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve DevOps practices.
Who Should Apply
- Graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in development, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
