SPEC Refinery is looking for recent Electrical Engineering graduates to start a career as a Graduate Engineer Trainee. The role offers hands‑on exposure to both local and overseas projects within the oil‑and‑gas and EPCC sectors, supported by company‑funded technical training abroad.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating electrical design documents, including design basis, specifications, and datasheets.
- Prepare and review single‑line diagrams, load lists, and cable schedules.
- Gain practical experience with lighting, lightning protection, and earthing systems.
- Work with switchgear, motor control centers, transformers, and UPS units.
- Perform electrical analyses and studies using ETAP software.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring clear communication and problem‑solving.
- Be ready to take part in both domestic and international assignments as project needs evolve.
Who Should Apply
- Fresh graduates holding a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power) or Mechatronics.
- Minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Basic familiarity with AutoCAD.
- Strong technical interest combined with good communication and analytical abilities.
- Willingness to commit to a three‑year service/bond period to benefit from the specialized training.
