ASK Development Private Limited, based on Mall Road in Lahore, seeks a fresh graduate to work as a Telecom Fault Management Engineer. The role centers on monitoring network health, coordinating with field teams, and delivering rapid fault resolution to keep services running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Watch power, hardware and environmental alarms to safeguard network stability.
- Collaborate with OFAN and NOD field personnel for task execution and fault fixing.
- Log and close tickets using accurate cause codes such as MSAGs, Partial Outage, GPON Outage, Temporary Issues, and Hardware Issues.
- Provide Level 3 support and liaise on hardware‑related problem resolution.
- Report and address partial outages quickly to preserve service quality.
- Analyze cable cuts and implement actions to reduce their occurrence.
- Complete MSAG ring configurations to improve overall network availability.
- Manage vendor ticketing, including opening and closing tickets.
- Restore cable cuts within defined KPIs and SLAs to limit downtime.
- Participate in fiber build‑up activities for commissioning MSAGs, corporate, and carrier links.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on cable cuts and low‑power incidents for management review.
Who Should Apply
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Telecom or Computer Science preferred).
- Fresh graduates with relevant knowledge are welcome; up to 2‑3 years experience in core switching or transmission is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are required.
- Strong teamwork and excellent communication abilities.
