A leading distribution firm is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Officer with knowledge of import/export processes to join its finance team.

Key Responsibilities
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor accounts.
– Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.
– Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
– Prepare claims related to exchange differences.
– Assist in developing and implementing internal processes and procedures.
– Maintain and update the import duties register.

Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
– 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
– Proficiency in MS Office and accounting systems.
– Knowledge of import/export processes and procedures.
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
