Habib Bank Limited offers a Tech Trainee position focused on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Science. The role provides practical experience on AI initiatives that aim to improve customer service, operational efficiency, risk handling and strategic decisions within the bank.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior technologists on AI, ML, Data Science and Generative AI projects.
- Help create AI-driven solutions to boost banking functions such as customer experience, workflow automation, risk mitigation and decision support.
- Assist in data gathering, cleaning, analysis and visualization to supply quality inputs for AI models.
- Build proof‑of‑concepts and prototypes that showcase AI and automation possibilities.
- Work closely with technology, digital banking, operations, risk, compliance and business teams to align AI work with corporate objectives.
- Support the testing, validation and refinement of AI algorithms to ensure reliability.
- Research emerging AI tools and trends relevant to the banking sector.
- Take part in hackathons, innovation challenges and AI learning programs.
- Prepare clear documentation, presentations and reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure all AI activities follow the bank’s data privacy, security and regulatory requirements.
Who Should Apply
- Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science or Computer Engineering.
- Recent graduates or candidates with up to one year of relevant experience.
- Strong interest or basic understanding of AI, machine learning and data science concepts.
- Basic programming ability, preferably in Python, and familiarity with data analysis/visualisation tools.
- Enthusiastic about learning new AI technologies in a fast‑moving banking environment.
