DataVault is creating a Neo‑Cloud and AI Factory, a GPU‑dense platform that enables AI training, fine‑tuning and inference for businesses. The company is looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong Kubernetes expertise to build and operate the clusters that run customers’ AI workloads in Karachi.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, operate and scale production Kubernetes clusters, including nodes equipped with GPUs.
- Handle cluster upgrades, networking (CNI), storage (CSI), ingress controllers and service‑mesh integration.
- Install and maintain the NVIDIA GPU Operator, device plugins and GPU scheduling policies.
- Design and sustain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows using tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
- Set up monitoring, logging and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana or comparable solutions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, Ansible and Helm charts.
- Ensure high availability, backup, disaster‑recovery, and enforce cluster security (RBAC, network policies, secrets management).
- Troubleshoot production incidents and participate in on‑call rotations.
Who Should Apply
- Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE or infrastructure engineering.
- Holding a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification.
- Practical experience running Kubernetes in production; on‑prem or bare‑metal backgrounds are a plus.
- Strong Linux administration and networking knowledge.
- Proficiency with Docker, Helm, Terraform, Ansible and Git.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
- Scripting abilities in Python or Bash.
- Familiarity with GPU workloads, HPC, Slurm or AI/ML infrastructure is advantageous.
- Optional: CKAD or CKS certification and a degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
