Website Youth Development Program (YDP)
The Youth Digital Program (YDP) Batch 2, organized by the Digital Communication Department of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of Pakistan, is now accepting internship applications. This program is designed to help students, recent graduates, and emerging creators transform their talents into practical skills through creative projects, collaboration, and public-interest communication. YDP aims to discover and nurture young talent by providing hands-on experience in various digital communication fields.
Key Responsibilities
Interns will contribute to the creation of videos, interviews, digital campaigns, and youth engagement activities. Depending on individual skills, responsibilities may include developing creative ideas, producing multimedia content, identifying emerging creators, and connecting with student and creative communities. The role requires active participation in teamwork and the ability to adapt to feedback while contributing meaningfully to ongoing projects.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should be curious, reliable, and open to constructive feedback. Both university-trained individuals and self-taught creatives are encouraged to apply. Candidates must demonstrate relevant skills in one or more of the following areas: hosting, presenting, podcast production, video editing, filmmaking, photography, graphic design, visual storytelling, social media management, communication, or community outreach. A willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative environment is essential.

Additional Information
The internship is based at the Digital Communication Department office located in the Pakistan-China Friendship Centre, Islamabad. The work arrangement is strictly on-site. Please note that this is an unpaid internship opportunity.
