In 2025, Zong is welcoming DTEs across three core divisions: Technology, Commercial, and Support.

TECHNOLOGY DIVISION

The Technology Division ensures the advancement and availability of cutting-edge network and IT infrastructure, enabling seamless and reliable services for Zong customers. DTEs division shall be placed in any of the following departments.

Digital Technologies

The Digital Technologies Department spearheads intelligent digital transformation and ensures high-quality development across AI, Data Science, Data Management, and Software Development. It manages DWH, Data Lakes, and data governance frameworks to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable data availability. The team develops advanced data science models that enable informed commercial and business decision-making. Additionally, it focuses on building scalable software solutions and enforcing governance mechanisms to drive innovation, efficiency, and long-term growth.

BSS & IT Infrastructure

The BSS & IT Department is responsible for formulating IT strategy and ensuring the availability of robust infrastructure and support systems across all business divisions. It manages cloud services, EDN operations, and network security to safeguard business continuity. The department enables smooth day-to-day functioning of critical platforms and applications while driving digital transformation. By aligning technology with business needs, it ensures efficiency, reliability, and innovation across the organisation

Information Security

This department builds & implements the governance & Administration of information security measures within Zong, to assist the management to detect, analyze, and respond to cyber security investigations/incidents using a combination of technology solutions and a strong set of processes.

Network Planning

This team drives strategic planning to expand and optimize the wireless network, ensuring alignment with business objectives and future technologies. It forecasts capacity needs, plans expansions, and enhances network coverage, efficiency, and reliability. The team evaluates emerging technologies, develops architecture standards, and optimizes CAPEX/OPEX utilization.

Network Operations Maintenance Center

The NOMC department ensures seamless functioning of Cloud Core and Access Networks, maintaining high availability and performance across nationwide infrastructure. It also supports corporate business teams with solution design, post-sales deployment and 24/7 corporate solutions monitoring & maintenance for Corporate Customers. Through strong coordination and technical leadership, the department safeguards network stability, customer satisfaction, and long-term business continuity.

Engineering Regions

The Engineering Regional Teams ensure the efficient availability of the Zong network, delivering seamless connectivity and services nationwide. They manage network operations, maintenance, and service quality across all regions. The teams also oversee deployment and post-sales support for enterprise solutions. Additionally, they provide dedicated technical assistance to enterprise clients to uphold service excellence.

COMMERCIAL DIVISION

The Commercial division drives business growth by managing Consumer & corporate sales, marketing, and nationwide distribution, ensuring innovative solutions, customer engagement, and seamless market reach for Zong Customers across Pakistan. DTEs can be placed in any of the following departments

Corporate Sales & Services

The Corporate Sales Department focuses on driving market expansion by delivering innovative, high-value solutions tailored to the evolving needs of corporate clients. It emphasizes superior customer experience while offering advanced cloud-based services aligned with DICT standards, alongside IoT and FTTH solutions. The department ensures clients gain access to secure, scalable, and future-ready technologies. Through this, it strengthens long-term partnerships and positions Zong as a trusted digital solutions provider.

Marketing

The Marketing department drives customer engagement and sales by promoting products and services effectively. It develops and executes campaigns to attract and retain customers while leveraging customer segmentation, BI, and data science for deeper insights. The team strengthens brand awareness across markets and ensures alignment with customer needs. Ultimately, it plays a pivotal role in fueling sustainable business growth.

Sales & Distribution

The Sales & Distribution (S&D) Department is responsible for developing, expanding, and managing nationwide sales channels while ensuring seamless distribution of Zong products across both traditional and digital platforms. It sustains strong sales touchpoints and serves as a key driver in achieving the company’s short-term targets and long-term growth objectives.

SUPPORT DIVISION

Support division would include the following department:

Finance

The Finance Department oversees financial planning, analysis, and overall financial management of the company. It ensures effective monitoring of revenues, costs, and key performance indicators across the organization. By providing accurate financial insights, the team supports both qualitative and quantitative decision-making. Ultimately, Finance plays a critical role in driving sustainable growth and organisational efficiency.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Qualification: Fresh Graduates* (Bachelors/ Masters) of last 1 year (2024 / 2025 batch) with degrees relevant to any of the following fields:

Technology: Artificial Intelligence/ Computer Science/ Software/Computer Engineering/ Information security/ IT/ Electrical/ Telecommunication & Networks/ systems/ Mechatronics Engineering/ Robotics/ or relevant degree.

Commercial: Artificial Intelligence/ Computer Science/ Software/Computer Engineering/ Information security/ Data Analytics/Business Intelligence/ Economic & Finance/ Data Science/Data Management/ Accounting/ Analytics/ Business Administration or relevant degree.

Support: Data Analytics/Business Intelligence/ Economics/ Finance/ Data Science/Data Management/ Accounting/ Analytics/ Business Administration or relevant degree.
