IKONIC, a US-based IT company headquartered in Miami, Florida, is seeking an enthusiastic Employee Branding Intern to join our team in Islamabad. This three-month internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in human resources with a focus on technical recruitment. The role involves supporting the sourcing, screening, and engagement of technical candidates while contributing to employer branding and employee engagement initiatives. This internship is designed to provide hands-on learning and has the potential to lead to a full-time position based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
– Technical Sourcing and Screening: Assist in sourcing candidates through online platforms, job boards, and networking channels. Screen resumes and applications to evaluate qualifications and skills.
– Candidate Engagement: Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate suitability. Coordinate and schedule interviews to ensure a seamless recruitment process.
– Recruitment Support: Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and assist in preparing interview materials and coordinating interview panels.
– Employee Engagement & Employer Branding: Help plan and organize employee engagement activities and internal events. Create engaging reels, photos, videos, and social media content showcasing company culture and workplace experiences. Support the HR team in developing creative content for LinkedIn and other platforms to enhance employer branding. Participate in employee engagement campaigns and team celebrations.
– Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate candidate data in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Assist in drafting job postings and updating recruitment documents.
– Learning and Development: Gain exposure to various HR functions, including onboarding, compliance, and workforce planning.
Required Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field from a reputable local or foreign university.
– Fresh graduates or candidates with at least six months of relevant experience.
– Strong interest in technical recruitment with a basic understanding of technical skills and terminology.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, administrative, and organizational skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
