We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our healthcare team as an Endoscopy Technician. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting medical procedures by assisting with endoscopic equipment and patient care. This position requires a commitment to learning and professional development, as all selected candidates will undergo a comprehensive six-month paid training program at SKMCH&RC, Lahore, before fully assuming their responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist in the preparation, operation, and maintenance of endoscopic equipment during medical procedures.
– Support the shifting and handling of patients using wheelchairs and stretchers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
– Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to provide seamless patient care.
– Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and work areas in compliance with healthcare standards.
– Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and team members to facilitate smooth workflow and patient understanding.
Required Qualifications
– Matriculation or F.Sc with a 2-year diploma in a relevant specialty from Punjab Medical Faculty or other recognized provincial regulatory bodies.
– Basic familiarity with patient handling techniques, especially involving wheelchairs and stretchers.
– Good communication skills to interact effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
– Previous experience in healthcare settings, particularly as a nursing assistant or in a similar support role, will be considered an advantage.
– Candidates with prior experience working specifically as an endoscopy technician will be given preference.
