Shanghai Electric, operating in Pakistan through Sino Sindh Resources (Private) Limited, is seeking a Finance Intern for its Karachi office. This 3‑month internship will support the Finance Department during the 2026 financial statement audit and other tasks.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, print, scan, and organize audit documents and supporting materials.
- Deliver and retrieve audit files from external auditors promptly.
- Sort, review, file, and maintain financial and audit records.
- Track document submissions and keep accurate logs of materials shared with auditors.
- Handle confidential financial information with discretion.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather required audit documentation.
- Provide administrative and documentation assistance to the Finance team throughout the audit process.
Who Should Apply
- Fresh graduates or final‑year students holding a bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
- Candidates with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with financial software is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to meet deadlines independently.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Chinese is advantageous.
- Additional certifications are considered a bonus.
