The Finance Trainee will play a vital role in supporting the finance team with daily accounting activities within a dynamic and fast-growing organization. This position offers hands-on experience in various financial processes, including transaction recording, ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and invoice and payment processing. The trainee will also assist with month-end closing procedures, financial reporting, budgeting, cost analysis, and compliance-related documentation. Working closely with senior finance professionals, the trainee will gain valuable exposure to practical business finance operations and develop foundational skills essential for a career in finance.
Key Responsibilities:
– Support day-to-day accounting operations by accurately recording financial transactions and maintaining general ledgers.
– Prepare and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
– Process invoices and payments in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies.
– Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
– Help prepare financial reports that provide insights into business performance.
– Support budgeting processes and conduct cost analysis to aid in financial planning.

Required Qualifications:

– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software is preferred.
