*Senior Backend Developer (Java/Kotlin)*

Job Summary
Design, build, and scale robust enterprise applications that handle high throughput and complex business logic. We use both Java and Kotlin, with Kotlin highly preferred for our modern stack.
Technical Stack
Languages: Kotlin (preferred), Java 17+
Frameworks: Spring Boot, Micronaut, Spring Security
Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases
Cloud & DevOps: AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
Architecture: Microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
Key Responsibilities
Architect and develop scalable, high-performance backend microservices.
Implement strong authentication, authorization, and data encryption to defend against application vulnerabilities.
Write clean, secure, maintainable, and well-tested code using TDD practices.
Transition legacy Java components into modern, efficient Kotlin services.
Design efficient database schemas and optimize complex SQL queries for enterprise scale.
Requirements
4+ years of professional backend development experience.
Proven track record of building and maintaining large-scale enterprise applications.
Familiarity with securing applications against common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, SSL/TLS).
Deep hands-on experience with Spring Boot or Micronaut.
Strong experience writing unit, integration, and security/penetration tests (JUnit, MockK, Spock).
