Habib Sugar Mills Limited is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee to join the Supply Chain team. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement, vendor coordination, inventory management, and overall supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
– Assist in preparing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and all related procurement documentation.
– Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to manage quotations, order status updates, and delivery schedules.
– Support the procurement process by obtaining and comparing vendor quotations to aid decision-making.
– Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier details, and procurement transactions.
– Monitor the progress of orders and follow up on pending deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials.
– Help maintain inventory records and track material requirements to support production needs.
– Prepare routine reports and update procurement-related data regularly.
– Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
– Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
– Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications.
– Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
– Excellent analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
– Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
– Relevant internship experience in procurement or supply chain management is advantageous.
– The position offers a starting salary from Rs40,000 per month.
