Job Purpose

The HR Intern will play a vital role in supporting core HR operations, including job description development, employee record management, and recruitment coordination. This position offers hands-on experience and contributes to the smooth functioning of the HR department.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining job descriptions across various roles within the organization.

  • Manage and organize employee records, ensuring documentation is accurate, up to date, and compliant with organizational and legal requirements.

  • Support onboarding processes by preparing documentation and ensuring timely submission of required materials.

  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team including filing, data entry, handling correspondence, and other clerical tasks as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA)

Required Qualification

  • Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Required Experience

  • Foundational knowledge of HR concepts and practices.

  • Previous internship or administrative experience in HR is a plus, but not mandatory.

Required Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational abilities with high attention to detail.

  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Familiarity with basic HR systems or databases is a bonus.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.

  • Quick learner, adaptable to fast-paced environments.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive and self-driven attitude.
