Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an SQA Intern located in Karāchi. The SQA Intern will be responsible for software quality assurance, developing test cases, and ensuring the quality of software products. The role will involve utilizing analytical skills to assess and improve the quality of software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand software requirements and user stories.
• Perform manual testing on web and mobile applications.
• Report bugs and track them to closure using tools like Jira
• Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and test data.
• Collaborate with developers and managers to identify and resolve issues.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and daily standups.
• Assist in regression, integration, and smoke testing cycles.
• Learn and adapt to new testing tools and automation frameworks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related
• Basic understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have (Optional):

• Familiarity with any test automation tool (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
• Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing.
• Internship or academic project experience in QA or testing.
