Role Overview:

Abacus Consulting is seeking 2 motivated and detail-oriented Internal Audit Interns to join our teams in Islamabad and Lahore office respectively. This role offers hands-on experience in internal auditing practices within a dynamic and structured environment. The intern will support the audit team in evaluating internal controls, processes, and compliance across various functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and executing internal audit assignments
• Evaluate business processes, internal controls, and systems for efficiency and compliance
• Identify and assess potential risks and provide recommendations for improvement
• Collect and analyze data to support audit findings
• Document audit procedures and prepare clear, concise audit reports
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Support the team with administrative and coordination tasks related to audit engagements
• Maintain professional working relationships with key stakeholders

Candidate Profile:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
