Position Overview We are seeking an energetic, meticulous, and proactive Accounts Executive to join our finance team in Karachi. In this role, you will be responsible for handling end-to-end accounting processes, vendor and client reconciliations, and supporting financial compliance.
*Key Responsibilities*
Maintain day-to-day book entries, ledgers, and financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
Process vendor bills, operational disbursements, client invoicing, and freight billing.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations, vendor balance verifications, and customer ledger reviews.
Assist in monthly closing, preparing trial balances, and generating management reports.
Handle withholding tax calculations, basic tax compliance, and statutory filings.
Liaise with operations and customer service teams to verify shipping/cargo expense line items and clear billing queries.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and schedules.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (B.Com, BBA, BS) or ACCA/CMA trainee / partly qualified.
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software/ERP systems.
Good grasp of accounting principles, local tax regulations, and reconciliation processes.
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical problem-solving skills.
