Eligibility Criteria

  • Citizenship: Open to citizens and residents of all countries.

  • Education Requirement: Must have earned a bachelor’s degree or equivalent after January 2019.

  • Application Requirement: You must apply to both:

    • The Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program

    • A full-time graduate degree program at Stanford University

  • Endorsement: No need for a university nomination or endorsement.

  • Field of Study: Open to all disciplines offered at Stanford.

Application Components

  1. Online Application Form – Must be submitted via the program’s online system.

  2. Resume/CV – Detailing education, work experience, awards, and leadership roles.

  3. Academic Transcripts – From all post-secondary institutions attended.

  4. Test Scores – Required only if your Stanford graduate program needs them (e.g., GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, TOEFL).

  5. Recommendation Letters – At least two letters, typically from academic or professional references.

  6. Essays and Short Answers – Including a personal statement and optional multimedia submission.

  7. Video Statement – A brief personal introduction (usually 1–2 minutes).
