Tech Implement, a software development and R&D firm based in Lahore, is looking for a full-time Linux Systems Developer. The role focuses on system-level research, development, and integration of hardware platforms.
Responsibilities
- Migrate current CentOS environments to Ubuntu.
- Create custom Ubuntu ISO images for deployment.
- Work with Nexcom VTC-1040 in-vehicle computing hardware.
- Configure and maintain GPS, GPIO, SIM, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth interfaces.
- Implement encryption and TPM-based security measures on Linux.
- Build software deployment and update mechanisms.
- Utilize Docker, Podman, and container technologies for application packaging.
- Perform Linux debugging, scripting, and performance optimisation.
Who Should Apply
- Professionals with 3-6 years of Ubuntu/Linux administration experience.
- Experience in system migration, Bash or Python scripting, and networking.
- Background in hardware integration and system security.
- Familiarity with C/C++ or embedded Linux is advantageous.
