We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Medical Transcriptionist. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency in computer use, and a good typing speed to efficiently transcribe medical records. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality. Candidates must be prepared to comply with health and safety protocols, including mandatory vaccination, to participate in the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
– Accurately transcribe medical reports, correspondence, and other healthcare-related documentation from audio recordings or notes.
– Ensure all transcriptions are clear, grammatically correct, and free of errors.
– Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations.
– Utilize computer software and transcription tools effectively to enhance productivity.
– Communicate professionally with healthcare providers and team members to clarify unclear information when necessary.
– Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and handle multiple transcription assignments.
Required Qualifications
– Completion of Intermediate education.
– Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Proficient computer skills with the ability to type at a good speed.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
– Diploma in Medical Transcription is highly preferred, providing specialized knowledge and skills relevant to the role.
