AgileKode, based in Model Town, Lahore, seeks a proactive Software Engineer Intern or Junior Software Engineer. This full‑time, on‑site internship lasts three months and may lead to a permanent position, offering a competitive stipend.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test and deploy web applications using Python, React, Next.js, Django or FastAPI.
- Leverage AI‑assisted coding tools such as Cursor and Claude Code for development, debugging and testing.
- Review AI‑generated code to ensure quality, security and maintainability.
- Help create AI‑driven features like retrieval‑augmented generation, voice interfaces and agent workflows.
- Integrate third‑party APIs, services and large language models.
- Construct automation workflows with tools like n8n, Zapier or Make.
- Assist with web‑scraping, data extraction and processing where permissible.
- Participate in troubleshooting, code reviews and documentation.
Who Should Apply
- Graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related discipline.
- Strong foundation in programming, especially Python, and basic knowledge of React or Next.js.
- Familiarity with web development concepts, REST APIs, databases and backend fundamentals.
- Practical experience using AI coding tools in academic, personal or freelance projects.
- Good problem‑solving, communication and learning abilities, and readiness to work full‑time on‑site.
- Preferred: experience with Git/GitHub, Django/FastAPI, AI integrations, automation projects, and a portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing work.
