ARY Digital Network, a leading television and digital media company in Pakistan, is looking for a Streaming Operations Executive in its Karachi office. The role focuses on ensuring seamless delivery of live channels and on‑demand content across its platforms.
Responsibilities
- Monitor live channel streams around the clock, checking uptime, quality, and audio‑video sync.
- Manage encoders, transcoding profiles, and adaptive bitrate outputs such as HLS and DASH.
- Schedule and set up live events, simulcasts, and special broadcasts.
- Upload and publish VOD content with correct metadata, thumbnails, and geo‑restriction settings.
- Collaborate with CDN providers and internal teams to troubleshoot playback and latency problems.
- Log incidents and prepare stream‑health and concurrency reports.
Who Should Apply
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Telecom, Media Technology, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in broadcast, OTT, or live‑streaming operations.
- Proficiency with OBS, cloud streaming services, HLS, DASH, RTMP, SRT, and codecs like H.264/H.265.
- Understanding of CDN delivery mechanisms.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
