This full-time, on-site position is for a Trainee Research Associate (R&D) based in Lahore, specifically at Sundar Estates. The role involves supporting research and development efforts focused on enzyme production, product development, and processing. The candidate will ensure that all activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, contributing to the company’s growth and innovation in enzyme technology.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and coordinate research and development initiatives, including enzyme production and process development activities.
– Drive the development, optimization, technical evaluation, and continuous improvement of the company’s enzyme product portfolio.
– Maintain and supervise production cultures, ensuring the availability of suitable cultures for inoculum development used in fermenter production.
– Oversee fermentation processes, enzyme recovery, downstream processing, product concentration, and storage operations.
– Coordinate the preparation, review, and updating of technical documentation such as technical data sheets (TDS), production records, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
– Monitor laboratory and production activities to ensure effective collaboration between Production, R&D, and QA/QC departments.
– Track monthly laboratory expenses and liaise with the accounts department for budget management.
– Work closely with the procurement team to manage chemical and consumable purchase requests based on production and laboratory needs.
– Ensure proper operational condition and routine maintenance of laboratory instruments.
Required Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree or M.Phil in Microbiology.
– Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME, API, or ASTM is essential to ensure compliance and quality control.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
– This role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 55,000.
