The Value Engineering is looking for a Truss Design Engineer who will work remotely from Pakistan, creating structural truss systems with MiTek software.
Responsibilities
- Design and refine roof, floor, and wall truss systems using MiTek tools.
- Generate truss layouts, placement diagrams, and fabrication drawings.
- Carry out load calculations, span analysis, and member optimization.
- Ensure all designs meet U.S. building codes, IBC standards, and project specifications.
- Review architectural and structural drawings for accuracy and coordination.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to deliver timely solutions.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior designers.
Who Should Apply
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Hands‑on experience designing trusses with MiTek software.
- Solid understanding of roof and floor truss systems.
- Familiarity with U.S. building codes and IBC standards.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
