WADIC, a reputable architectural and design firm based in Lahore, is seeking a motivated Junior AutoCAD Draftsman to join their team. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to enhance their technical drafting skills and gain valuable industry experience in architectural and structural design. The role requires working onsite during the evening shift from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM at the PCSIR Township College Road location. Candidates must be detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities
– Create accurate 2D and 3D architectural and structural drawings using AutoCAD software.
– Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, construction details, and other technical drawings as per project specifications.
– Review design concepts, technical documentation, and project requirements to ensure precision in drawings.
– Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to maintain compliance with standards and specifications.
– Adhere to company drafting practices, quality control measures, and documentation protocols.
– Update and revise drawings based on feedback, project changes, and review outcomes.
– Perform basic measurements and calculations necessary for preparing technical drawings.
– Verify final drawings for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and alignment with project needs.
Required Qualifications
– Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
– Valid AutoCAD certification is mandatory.
– Proficiency in AutoCAD with a foundational understanding of architectural drafting principles.
– Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce precise technical drawings.
– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, construction documents, and drafting standards effectively.
– Good communication skills, teamwork orientation, and problem-solving capabilities.
– Comfortable working in a deadline-driven, collaborative environment.
– Must possess a personal laptop capable of efficiently running AutoCAD and other drafting software.
Candidates should be prepared to work onsite during the specified night shift hours and must have their own laptop to fulfill job requirements.
