We are seeking a motivated and dedicated WordPress developer with a strong understanding of the latest industry trends. This role requires hands-on experience in developing and maintaining custom WordPress themes and plugins, along with the ability to design and implement new features that enhance website functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
– Design and implement new features and functionalities for WordPress websites.
– Create responsive designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure optimal user experience across devices.
– Work with popular page builders such as Divi and Elementor, with the ability to edit and customize templates.
– Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and user engagement.
– Troubleshoot and resolve website issues by debugging code and fixing bugs efficiently.
– Integrate payment gateways and social media platforms to enhance website capabilities.
– Manage WordPress updates, backups, and migrations to maintain site stability and security.
– Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of WordPress and its ecosystem.
Required Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
– Proven experience working with WordPress, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
– Familiarity with page builders such as Divi and Elementor, along with a solid understanding of SEO best practices.
– Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Hiring Procedure:
The selection process includes CV shortlisting, an initial interview, IQ and personality assessment tests, a final interview, followed by a background check before joining.
Additional Information:
This is an unpaid position with a nominal stipend ranging from Rs50.00 to Rs100.00 per month. The work location is onsite at the 4th Floor, 345 Office, M. Dubai Tower, Lehtrar Road, Islamabad. Candidates should be prepared to work in person.
