We are seeking a YouTube Content Intern who is passionate about understanding why certain videos succeed while others do not. This role is ideal for someone with strong intellectual curiosity, analytical thinking, and the ability to identify patterns in data and audience behavior. You will collaborate closely with our content team to research YouTube trends, analyze channel and video performance, and translate data into actionable insights that help shape content strategy. No prior professional experience is required; a keen interest in digital content and data-driven decision-making is what matters most.
Key Responsibilities:
– Research YouTube channels, videos, trends, topics, and audience behavior to gather relevant insights.
– Analyze video performance metrics such as views, click-through rate (CTR), retention, engagement, watch time, and audience growth.
– Identify patterns behind high-performing content and uncover content gaps or emerging trends.
– Study competitors to understand successful strategies within various content niches.
– Assist in developing data-backed content ideas, including titles, hooks, and video formats.
– Maintain detailed content research and performance reports to track progress and outcomes.
– Monitor ongoing content performance and share observations and recommendations with the team.
– Continuously experiment, learn, and deepen understanding of the YouTube ecosystem and its evolving dynamics.
Required Qualifications:
– Fresh graduate or final-year student from a reputable university.
– Strong analytical and logical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
– Genuine curiosity about YouTube, digital content creation, creators, and audience behavior.
– Excellent research and problem-solving abilities.
– High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
– Effective communication and documentation skills to clearly present findings.
– Comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
– No prior professional experience required; emphasis is on your ability to think critically, analyze information, and learn quickly.
