Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Intern at Kanwal Malik. As an Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day tasks such as fabric sourcing, pattern making, sample development, and garment fittings. You will also provide support to the design team in creating and sketching new designs, as well as participating in fashion shows and photoshoots.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of fashion design principles and techniques
- Knowledge of fabric types, textures, and patterns
- Proficiency in pattern making and garment construction
- Ability to sketch and create new designs
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Knowledge of fashion trends and the ability to incorporate them into designs
- Previous experience in the fashion industry is a plus
- Degree in Fashion Design or related field is preferred
