Privacy Policy for RAPP (CV Maker)

This privacy policy applies to the RAPP app (the “Application”), a CV/resume builder. The Application is created by Abdullah Sherwani and offers both free and paid services.

By using RAPP, you grant the Service Provider full access to, and complete control over, the data described below.

Information We Collect

CV data you provide:
Full name, email, phone number, physical address, professional photo (if uploaded), LinkedIn or website URLs, work history (employer names, job titles, dates, responsibilities), education (schools, degrees, majors, dates, certifications), skills, languages, awards, publications, career summaries, and any other text you enter. CV template selections and design preferences.

Automatic data:
Device model, OS version, unique identifiers (Android ID, Google Advertising ID), IP address, app usage (pages visited, time spent, features used), crash reports, and performance data.

We do not collect credit card details, health data, contacts, SMS, or call logs.

Full Access & Control

You agree that the Service Provider has complete and unrestricted control over this information, including the rights to:

  • Collect, use, store, and share it as described in this policy.
  • Use it to operate, improve, market, and monetise the Application.
  • Retain it as long as needed, even after account deletion (in backups or anonymised form).
  • Modify the scope of data access in the future; continued use means you accept any changes.

How We Use Your Data

  • Build, save, and manage your CVs.
  • Sync your data across devices if applicable.
  • Improve the app via analytics, crash reporting, and user behaviour analysis.
  • Show relevant advertisements (in the free version).
  • Send you platform updates and administrative messages (you can opt out of non-essential emails).

Data Sharing

  • Service providers: We use Google Firebase, Cloud Functions, analytics tools, and AdMob (for ads). These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect it.
  • Legal compliance: We may share data if required by law, to protect rights/safety, or during a business transfer (merger/acquisition).
  • Aggregated/de-identified data: We may share non-identifiable data for marketing or research.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We do not share your CV data with employers unless you explicitly choose to export or share it yourself.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your CV data as long as your account is active and for a reasonable time afterwards. After account deletion, we may keep backups, logs, and anonymised data for legal/analytical needs.

To request deletion of your personal data, contact admin@pintern.net. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and delete data not required by law or legitimate business needs.

Your Rights

  • Access & correction: You can edit all CV data anytime inside the app.
  • Account deletion: Contact us to delete your account and remove personal data.
  • Opt-out: Disable push notifications in device settings, opt out of marketing emails, and reset your advertising ID in device settings to limit ad tracking.

You can also stop all data collection by uninstalling the app.

Children’s Privacy

The app is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn of such data, we delete it immediately. Parents/guardians can contact admin@pintern.net.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest (Firestore). Access is restricted to authorised personnel and service providers. No system is 100% secure; you accept the inherent risks.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in any country where we or our service providers operate. You consent to such transfers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
