Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Pintern app, the RAPP app, and any other mobile applications developed by Abdullah Sherwani that link to this page. The Application offers both free and paid services 

By using any of these apps, you grant the Service Provider full access to and complete control over the data described below.

Information We Collect

The exact data collected depends on which app you use.

If you use Pintern (Job Platform)

• Account info you provide: Name, email, phone number, profile photo, university, education, skills, work experience, country/city.
• Usage data (automatic): Jobs viewed, swipes, applications submitted, saved jobs, referrals, notifications read, and in‑app chat messages.
• Device data: FCM token (for push notifications), IP address, app version, and device model (for analytics and crash reporting).

If you use RAPP (CV Maker) or similar apps

• CV data you provide: Full name, email, phone number, physical address, professional photo (if uploaded), LinkedIn/website URLs, work history (employer names, job titles, dates, responsibilities), education (schools, degrees, majors, dates, certifications), skills, languages, awards, publications, career summaries, and any other CV content you enter. CV template selections and design preferences.
• Automatic data: Device model, OS version, unique identifiers (Android ID, Google Advertising ID), IP address, app usage (pages visited, time spent, features used), crash reports, and performance data.

We do not collect credit/debit card details (these are processed by third‑party payment providers), health data, biometric information, contacts, SMS, or call logs.

Full Access & Control

You agree that the Service Provider has complete and unrestricted control over all information described above, including the rights to:

• Collect, use, store, and share it as outlined in this policy.
• Use it for any purpose related to the operation, improvement, marketing, and monetisation of the Application, as well as for research and development.
• Retain it as long as the Service Provider deems necessary, even after account deletion (in backups or anonymised form), subject to legal limits.
• Modify, aggregate, de‑identify, and combine data with other sources.
• Change the scope of data access in the future; continued use constitutes acceptance of any expanded access.

How We Use Your Data

• For Pintern: Match you with job opportunities, process applications, send application status updates, and enable in‑app chat.
• For RAPP/CV apps: Build, save, and manage your CVs; sync data across devices if applicable.
• For all apps:
  • Improve the app via analytics, crash reporting, and user behaviour analysis.
  • Send you job alerts (Pintern), platform updates, and administrative messages. You can opt out of non‑essential emails.
  • Show relevant advertisements (in free versions of some apps, e.g., RAPP).
  • Process payments for paid services (card details are handled entirely by third‑party processors; we never see full card numbers).
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and property of the Service Provider and its users.

Data Sharing

• Employers (Pintern only): Your application details (name, email, phone, education, CV, etc.) are shared with employers when you apply to their jobs.
• Service providers: We use Google Firebase, Cloud Functions, analytics tools, and, for some apps, AdMob. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect it.
• Legal compliance: We may share data if required by law, to protect rights/safety, or during a business transfer (merger/acquisition).
• Aggregated/de‑identified data: We may share non‑identifiable data for marketing or research.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. RAPP and CV‑maker apps do not share your CV data with third parties unless you explicitly export or share it yourself.

Third‑Party Services

The Application uses third‑party services that have their own privacy policies:

• Google Play Services – Privacy Policy
• AdMob (used in some free apps) – Privacy Policy
• Google Analytics for Firebase – Privacy Policy

We are not responsible for the data practices of these third parties.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data as long as your account is active and for a reasonable time afterwards. After account deletion, we may keep backups, logs, and anonymised data for legal and analytical purposes.

To request deletion of your personal data, contact us (see below). We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and delete data not required by law or legitimate business needs.

Your Rights and Choices

• Access & correction: Edit your Pintern profile or RAPP CV data anytime inside the respective app.
• Account deletion: Contact support to delete your account and personal data.
• Opt‑out: Disable push notifications in device settings, opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link, and reset your advertising ID in device settings to limit ad tracking.

You can stop all data collection at any time by uninstalling the Application.

Children’s Privacy

The Application is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn of such data, we delete it immediately. Parents/guardians can contact us.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest (Firestore). Access is restricted to authorised personnel and service providers. No system is 100% secure; you accept the inherent risks.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in any country where the Service Provider or its service providers operate. By using the Application, you consent to such transfers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
