We are seeking a creative and motivated Video Editing Intern eager to develop skills in video editing and content creation. This one-month internship offers hands-on experience working on real video projects, where you will learn how to transform raw footage into high-retention, engaging videos. You will gain practical knowledge in editing techniques, storytelling, pacing, sound design, and visual effects, all essential for producing compelling digital content.
Key Responsibilities
– Edit YouTube videos, including both long-form and short-form content, as well as clips for other social media platforms.
– Cut and arrange footage to craft engaging and coherent stories.
– Add captions, transitions, sound effects, music, and basic motion graphics to enhance video quality.
– Experiment with various editing styles, hooks, and visual storytelling methods to find the most effective approach.
– Follow briefs, scripts, and editing guidelines accurately.
– Respond to feedback promptly and make necessary revisions.
– Organize project files, footage, audio, and other assets systematically.
– Stay informed about current trends in YouTube and social media video editing to keep content fresh and relevant.
Required Qualifications
– Basic proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools.
– A solid understanding of cuts, pacing, transitions, audio integration, and storytelling principles.
– Strong attention to detail to ensure polished final products.
– A creative mindset with a willingness to experiment and try new techniques.
