Our client, ØRN Workwear, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quality Control Assistant to join their team in Faisalabad, Lahore. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with a strong interest in garment and textile quality control. The role focuses on supporting the inspection process, documenting findings accurately, and ensuring adherence to established quality standards. The Junior QC Assistant will work closely with factory partners across Pakistan, conducting regular site visits to validate production quality and maintain consistent standards.
Key Responsibilities
– Conduct thorough inspections of garments and textiles according to established quality control procedures and guidelines.
– Identify, document, and report defects or inconsistencies found during inspections with clarity and accuracy.
– Utilize quality management systems and digital inspection tools to record inspection data and generate reliable reports.
– Perform basic statistical analysis to assist in quality control decisions and identify trends.
– Ensure all inspection documentation is complete, well-organized, and submitted within specified deadlines.
– Collaborate effectively with factory partners and internal teams to communicate quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
– Travel regularly to partner factory sites across Pakistan to perform inspections and monitor production quality.
– Maintain up-to-date knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, and workmanship standards through ongoing training and practical experience.
– Manage accurate data entry of inspection results into relevant software systems.
– Adhere to safety and compliance regulations during inspections, upholding ØRN Workwear’s quality policies and standards.
Required Qualifications
– Strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in garment and textile quality control.
– Basic proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and office software applications.
– Willingness to learn and adapt to digital inspection tools and quality management systems.
– Good communication skills in both English and Urdu to effectively report findings and coordinate with teams.
– Strong organizational skills and reliability to support quality assurance processes.
– Ability and willingness to travel regularly across Pakistan for factory inspections.
