HBL is looking for a Tech Trainee to join its AI initiatives in Karachi. The role offers practical exposure to AI, machine learning, data science and generative AI projects within the banking sector, guided by senior technology experts.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to AI, machine learning, data science and generative AI projects, helping design and implement advanced solutions.
- Assist in data collection, cleaning, analysis and visualization to supply quality inputs for AI models.
- Create proof‑of‑concepts and prototypes using AI and automation tools.
- Work with cross‑functional teams such as Technology, Digital Banking, Operations, Risk, Compliance and business units to align AI work with bank objectives.
- Support testing, validation and documentation of AI models and algorithms.
- Research emerging AI trends and tools relevant to banking.
- Participate in hackathons, innovation programs and AI learning opportunities.
- Prepare project documentation, presentations and reports for stakeholders while ensuring data privacy and regulatory compliance.
