Datavault is building a Neo‑Cloud and AI Factory, a GPU‑dense platform that powers AI training, fine‑tuning and inference for businesses. Handling critical data and AI models for its clients, the firm needs a Network & Firewall Engineer to design, protect, and operate its networking infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage data‑center networking and perimeter security.
- Configure and maintain next‑generation firewalls such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco, or similar.
- Create secure network segmentation and multi‑tenant isolation for customer environments.
- Administer site‑to‑site and remote‑access VPNs, NAT, and access‑control policies.
- Set up routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VXLAN.
- Implement and monitor IDS/IPS, DDoS protection, and security logging.
- Regularly audit firewall rule sets, apply patches, and respond to security incidents.
- Maintain up‑to‑date network and security documentation and support audit/compliance activities.
Who Should Apply
- At least five years of experience in network and firewall engineering.
- Hands‑on expertise with one major firewall platform (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA/Firepower).
- Strong grasp of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, and network‑security best practices.
- Experience in data‑center, ISP, telecom, or banking environments is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools, zero‑trust design, or cloud security is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, PCNSE, NSE 4+, CCSA/CCSE, or CCIE are desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Telecom Engineering or a related field.
