ASK Development Private Limited is hiring a Junior Network Engineer for its Mall Road office in Lahore. The full‑time role centers on monitoring network stability, liaising with field teams, and delivering rapid fault remediation. The position provides a monthly salary of PKR 40,700, medical insurance, and an annual cash reward.
Responsibilities
- Watch power, hardware and environmental alarms to keep the network running smoothly.
- Collaborate with OFAN and NOD field staff to address faults and perform network tasks.
- Manage tickets from creation to closure, applying accurate cause codes such as MSAG, partial outage, GPON outage, temporary or hardware issues.
- Deliver Level 3 support and coordinate hardware repairs.
- Report and resolve partial outages promptly to protect service quality.
- Analyze and mitigate cable‑cut incidents, aiming to lower their occurrence.
- Complete MSAG ring work to improve overall network availability.
- Open and close vendor tickets to speed up issue resolution.
- Restore cable cuts within defined KPIs and SLAs.
- Support fiber build‑out for commissioning MSAGs, corporate and carrier links.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on cable cuts and low‑power events for management.
Who Should Apply
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Telecom or Computer Science.
- 2–3 years of experience in core switching or transmission networks, though fresh graduates are also welcome.
- Relevant certification such as CCNA or CCNP.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Access to a bike for commuting.
