Brand Republic is seeking a motivated 2D Animation Intern to join our creative team in Karachi. This full-time internship offers hands-on experience in 2D animation, motion graphics, and visual storytelling. The role is designed for fresh graduates, students, or early-career professionals with up to six months of relevant experience who are eager to develop their skills and contribute to digital content creation. Candidates should have a portfolio or sample work demonstrating their animation capabilities. The internship is on-site, based in P.E.C.H.S Block 06, Karachi, with working hours from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
– Create engaging 2D animations and motion graphics for social media, advertisements, and various digital platforms.
– Animate characters, illustrations, typography, icons, and other creative assets to enhance storytelling.
– Develop smooth transitions and basic visual effects to complement video content.
– Collaborate closely with designers, video editors, and the creative team to bring concepts to life.
– Follow storyboards and creative briefs accurately, incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions.
– Organize project files efficiently and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
– Stay updated with current trends in animation and motion design to keep work fresh and innovative.
Required Qualifications
– Basic hands-on experience in 2D animation and motion graphics.
– Familiarity with Adobe After Effects is essential.
– Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop.
– Understanding of fundamental animation principles such as timing, spacing, easing, and movement.
– A creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
– Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and improve continuously.
– A portfolio or demo reel showcasing relevant animation work is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
