About the Role

As BYD Pakistan continues to scale up manufacturing operations at our Gharo facility, we’re building out our Plant Operations Team across multiple specialized functions. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing automotive manufacturing operation and contribute directly to vehicle production quality and plant efficiency.

Open Positions

We are hiring across the following departments:

HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)
PE&M (Plant Engineering & Maintenance)
PPMC (Production Planning & Material Control)
Weld
Quality
Assembly
Paint

Key Responsibilities (general, varies by department)

Support day-to-day plant operations within your assigned department
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols on the production floor
Monitor and maintain quality/process standards relevant to your function
Identify and report process deviations, equipment issues, or safety concerns
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production flow
Maintain accurate documentation/records as required by your department

Requirements

Education: DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) or B.Tech in a relevant discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)
Fresh graduates and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply
Willingness to work on-site at the Gharo Plant, Sindh
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Basic understanding of plant safety practices (preferred)
Department-specific technical knowledge is a plus (e.g., welding techniques for Weld, QA/QC tools for Quality)
