Selecto Retail is looking for an experienced, strategic, and results-oriented Head of Department – Accounts & Finance to lead the organization’s accounting and financial operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial discipline, accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, effective financial planning, and strong financial controls to support sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the overall Accounts & Finance function.
Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Oversee financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, general ledger, and financial transactions.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax consultants, and relevant government authorities.
Ensure timely completion of audits, tax filings, reconciliations, and statutory requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
Lead and develop the Accounts & Finance team while ensuring operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, ACMA, CMA, or equivalent will be preferred.
8–12 years of relevant Accounts & Finance experience, preferably including managerial or Head of Department experience.
Experience in retail, cellphone/mobile, distribution, FMCG, or multi-outlet businesses will be preferred.
Strong knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, taxation, financial reporting, internal controls, banking, and audit processes.
Proven experience managing financial operations and leading an Accounts & Finance team.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting/ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and business analytics.
Strong understanding of Pakistani taxation and statutory compliance requirements.
